WEBN interviewed London-based fashion designer, Carson Lovett and American abstract artist, CR Rousseau as they were just about to open their debut art exhibit at New York Fashion Week in New York City.

Fashion Journalist, ADRIENNE ESPOSITO, wrote a recent review of "The Art of Couture" during New York Fashion Week hosted New York City. Ms. Esposito notes our exhibit "showcased a stunning collection of artwork inspired by various impeccably designed fashion pieces... with this captivating fusion of art and fashion, some important sociocultural themes emerged, including the importance of sustainability and the role of women in society." What an honor. 

Ms. Esposito connected with the intention of the exhibit and with each work, its rationale and the exhibit itself. We are truly honored.

We are pleased to announce, CR Rousseau was  chosen for representation by Kai Gallery in New York. 

Kai Gallery is a leading international gallery that has re-launched and re-imagined its focus on contemporary aesthetics. The gallery was originally founded in 2007 with a focus on Asian art and traditional mediums, but it has since expanded its reach to include a wider range of artists and artworks. 

Leaders in the field of contemporary art, Kai Gallery now represents both established and emerging artists from around the world. CR is honored to be a part of it.

See.Me is an American virtual arts organization founded in 2007. They focus on showcasing emerging artists. They also host competitions and exhibitions throughout the year and cater to artists, photographers, musicians, designers, and creative enthusiasts.

The Garnette Report is known for "Bridging The Gap Between The Up-And-Coming And The Established" which, for CR Rousseau, is a perfect place to be. We're honored to have NICOLE HUMBLE at our exhibit during New York Fashion Week, "The Art of Couture". 

Ms. Humble shared that this collaborative effort "resulted is a series of abstract paintings that highlight the artistry of fashion in a new refreshing way." 

In their interview, CR said, “I found the ethos of sustainability [to be inspiring] and I found it was just such a rich context [to draw upon].” Ms. Humble graciously added "And so she did, in vivid beautiful colors too." #grateful
