In Love with Color

CR Rousseau's vibrant abstracts draw inspiration from fashion, the human form and life on the West Coast. Life around water in the Pacific Northwest, in California's Carmel-by-the-Sea and around the City by the Bay gives her work a unique spirit and a classic color palette. 

Focusing on the energy of culture and the emotion of color, her works are layered and multi-faceted compositions. "I have to be true to myself in every moment of the process.” said Rousseau. Framing her process in bodies of work makes space to evolve.

Based on Bainbridge Island, she exhibits in New York and California, her work can also be found in art fairs and private collections worldwide.
